Roman Phonetic Transcription of English - 02/12/2010

Description of the underlying principles of the 2002 Basic Roman Spelling of English, an alternative English orthography for possible international usage. A new construction for that system is presented, along with a closely related Roman phonetic alphabet to be used for the pronunciation respelling of English without diacritics. A comparison is made with V. Yule’s system of Interspel.
